about art & soul
Mikey and Shiromi Davison
We are Mikey & Shiromi Davison, a husband and wife team that make up art & soul.
Mikey is a North East artist whose love of local landmarks and landscapes have inspired him all his life, creating art for family and friends before turning to sharing his art with the public, at art fairs, shops and galleries around the area.
Shiromi is the front-of-house of art & soul, organising events, attending art fairs and fulfilling orders, making sure people receive their beautiful artwork safely.
We run art & soul from our home in Middleton St. George, Darlington, in the heart of the rugged and beautiful North East of England.
Our artwork is created with acrylics on canvas and acrylic paper, inspired by the places and people we love.
Our Etsy shop has our full range of Mounted Prints and Tote Bags.
We also sell framed prints, originals on canvas, cards, mugs and coasters through local shops and craft fairs. We have a new range of Tote bags, featuring a selection of our artwork.
For special gifts, Mikey may be able to add a little touch to personalise the painting, such as a person, a family or pets. Mikey also takes commissions and will work with you to create a truly unique piece of work. Please contact us to find out more.

2020 was a very strange year for everyone, and like so many other small businesses, we had lots of events booked in that were cancelled. We are looking ahead to 2021 and we will share details of any events with you as soon as we can.
We have booked in dates for the Pop Up Shop, Yarm and we will share these with you throughout the year. Our first date is Saturday 6 February.
We also sell our artwork and gifts online - mounted prints of all our artwork and our tote bags are on our Etsy page and these can be posted to you. We can also post our coasters and original canvases. Please contact us if you have any questions or to place an order, we can send you a secure payment link and arrange local delivery.
