about art & soul
Mikey and Shiromi Davison
We are Mikey & Shiromi Davison, a husband and wife team that make up art & soul.
Mikey is a North East artist whose love of local landmarks and landscapes have inspired him all his life, creating art for family and friends before turning to sharing his art with the public, at art fairs, shops and galleries around the area.
Shiromi is the front-of-house of art & soul, organising events, attending art fairs and fulfilling orders, making sure people receive their beautiful artwork safely.
We run art & soul from our home in Middleton St. George, Darlington, in the heart of the rugged and beautiful North East of England.
Our artwork is created with acrylics on canvas and acrylic paper, inspired by the places and people we love.
Our artwork is available to buy from our Etsy shop as mounted prints.
We also sell framed prints, originals on canvas, cards, mugs and coasters through local shops and craft fairs.
For special gifts, Mikey may be able to add a little touch to personalise the painting, such as a person, a family or pets. Mikey also takes commissions and will work with you to create a truly unique piece of work. Please contact us to find out more.
where to find us
art & craft
We have stalls at art and craft fairs around the Teesside area. Check out our events calendar to find out where we'll be turning up next, and come and say hi. We'd love to meet you!
We are lucky enough to have some of our pieces on sale at a number of lovely local independent shops and galleries:
If you are looking for a particular item, please contact us to check if it is stocked in the shop you plan to visit.
During the year we attend a variety of community events, such as the Middleton St. George Family Fun Day and the Ingleby Barwick Family Fun Weekend.
Find out more about what we get up to and our programme of events in the art & soul blog.
We are currently unable to attend any art and craft fairs or to be in the Pop-up Shop, Yarm because of the coronavirus pandemic. Once we are able to attend events again we will update this page and our Facebook page with the details.
Fortunately, you can still purchase our artwork: mounted prints of all our artwork can be bought via Etsy and we can post your artwork while on our daily exercise. We also have some original canvases that can be posted. More details in our blog.
Please contact us with any questions, we'd love to hear from you.
